One of the centerpieces of Stansbury Park is its 18-hole public golf course. This challenging golf course winds through the beautiful homes of Stansbury and features over a dozen lakes integrated into the layout. All the par 3's are over water and all but two holes have water hazards, so be prepared to splash a ball or two during a round. In the winter time, Stansbury is often the only course open in the greater Salt Lake City area. The course has a pro shop, putting green, driving range and a new 40 x 60 pavilion.
Head Pro Jeff Green is quick to help newcomers learn the course, and provide lessons for those who want to work on their game. The course plays 6,831 yards from the blue tees with a rating of 71.6/125. Carts are available. The course, like most in Utah, is spikeless.
Directions:
Take I-80 west of SLC to exit 99. Go 4 miles south to the Maverick Gas Station. Turn right into Stansbury Park, then take the first left, go 3 blocks and turn right.
